the funniest part of the stereotype is that most of the gas stations which people think are run by people from india are actually run by people from the middle east. many are also run by people from pakistan. but i guess they all have black hair and tan skin, so they all get lumped together in one category: indian.
No foo. What you just said is another stereotype. Arabs and Pakistani's arent the majority of gas station owners(not even the majority of stations owned by nonindians that are mistaken for indians). Well I guess it depends where you reside. Gas stations are run by people from all cultures. Many Idiots 'Hilary' don't know the difference between anyone not from America and do lump them together, but that also includes hispanic and other races and backgrounds. But usually anyone from middle to southern asia is put in a group that I have heard many a weird names for. "ghandi's" "Mohammislamics" "Hindu's" etc etc. Ignorance is the perfect thread title
It was a bone-headed comment for sure, but Hildabeast, if you're going to use ethnic humor, at least try to be funny? The laughter sounded totally nervous and some people had to be staring at her like she had lobsters crawling out of her ears. What was the point of the joke? I didn't think Hitlary was the joking type.
