would you resign dream if he thought that we could win a championship now, and he played for the minimum?

I wouldn't want Dream on my team if I was getting a B league team together at the local Y.

The most Ill play hakeem is league minimum. He wont want to come back even if we get webber because hakeem thinks he should get the ball and if he thinks he could get it with webber here then he better think again.

Hakeem wants to play for a contender. The Rockets would be contenders with Webber. The Rockets should definitely resign him for the minimum if Webber comes to Houston. Mo is not a center. Hakeem would still be one of the few true centers. Plus, something tells me he wouldn't be complaining if the Rockets were 33-14.

I agree with Francis3. Despite what Hakeem says, I don't think he necessarily wants to play for a contender. I think he wants to be the focus of the offense again.

What he doesn't understand is that that will never happen, regardless of what team he ends up on. Hakeem just doesn't have it anymore.

hey getting webber would be great, but this team still wont win a championship w/out a legit center. i dont know if cato is that. we need someone that will get us solid boards, an othella harrington perhaps. webber isnt doing it alone in sactown, he has the help of divac. its gonna havta be the same thing here...

The reason webber likes houston is because of the backcourt. Rockets backcourt bench is better than the Kings starting lineup backcourt. Houston I think is going to get rid of Cato, but that doesnt mean that its going to be bad. Lets Dreamcast this thought.

IF webber does come here, What are the chances of Shandon signing back here with the rockets? Mo I think will be gone for sure if Webber arrives.

Here is what I would love to happen. Rockets trade this years Pick plus Cato and future first rounder for like top 3 pick. With that pick rockets can select Gerald Wallace. Yes you guys , I said Wallace, Not Griffin, Morris, Battier, etc..

Rockets need a true small forward really bad. Dont listen to what Heypartner says. [IMG] Wallace is a superstar in the making. He can be 2nd or 3rd string his first years. Then with the Bucks pick rockets should go after Centers. I would love for Houston to grab Ken Johnson, you wont find any better defensive center in college. The guy is what houston needs.

Then go in the offseason and try to get CWEBB and Jackson.

    Future Team?

    C - Jackson , Johnson ,
    F - Webber, Thomas
    F - Langhi , Willams, Wallace
    SG - Cuttino , Shandon
    PG - Francis , Moochie

We let go of Rogers and Hakeem. Trade Collier for some future second rounder. Bullard can be on the injured list cause he wont be playing that much.

This helps the team contend right there and have a future star in the making.
