Today, Tracy will be going to another doctor to get another opinion about his status of his knee. So far, the Rockets has yet to say Tracy is out. Today is the trade deadline. So with all this going on here is what i want to ask : MHO, i feel Tracy is skipping out on being in trade talks. What i dont understand is why he is having another opinion on his knee the day after he said he will have surgery. It doesnt add up. I am a big fan of Tracy but i am a bigger fan of the Rockets organization. I seriously think its a bunch of BS that he is claiming he needs microfracture surgery. He knows he couldnt come back from that surgery. My opinion, for some reason Tracy will not have the surgery... Hes a drama queen, he will not go under the knife. If, and a big if, Tracy returns from the doctor explaining that based on his latest doctor vist he will not need surgery and will return this season, do the Rockets allow him to play? Would houston accept him back in the rotation? Do you guys care? I
Great post. I can see that you have thought it out and are an objective fan. I appreciate that. The bolded part is a good point. That's been bothering me as well. If Tracy returns and wants to play I think his teammates have every right to complain. I like Tracy but he's done for the season because he said it himself. If he has any integrity at all, he'll give the guys their chance to play drama-free.
Tracy is probably my favorite player of all time. But the way he has handled this situation is completely unprofessional and bizzare. I also don't think and hope he will have that surgery unless its really warranted. Probably doing it so his ass doesn't get traded. His biggest problem throughout his career is talking when he should just stfu. He hurts his own credibility every time he opens his mouth. If he finds out, or rather comes to the conclusion himself that he doesn't need the surgery then he should just sit for a month. Rehab, get in shape, practice and most importantly STFU! After that the Rockets should try to incorporate him into the rotation by bringing him off the bench without much hoopla. And go on from there.
Maybe he knows team is trying to trade him. So he drama about he's having that surgrey so that other team will lose interest in him.
What I wonder is what he will do if this Doctor says he doesn't need surgery, just needs rehab. Out of all the Doctors he's visited that would make only one recommending microfracture surgery. Does he still take the surgery?
Thanks for the comment. I think he is just blasting all the bs about himself so people dont want to trade for him. I love the drama though
Before the trade line, he will claim surgery. After 2pm today, nope , he will not claim surgery... watch
Since the Rockets have yet to confirm he's out for the season, then it seems as if the Rockets would want him to play if he can. If they didn't want TMac to play, they'd just confirm he's out for the season and move on. Just a guess.
If STacy eer Tracy says he wont have surgery right after the trade dead line he should just stay away from the Toyota Center because if I see him there for any game on the bench or even in warm ups I WILL BOO IS ***. He may think he's smart to skip being shipped but that would show him as a Backstabber and would ruin his some what ok rep in the NBA.
WELL then let's make it clear for the PPL who are inquiring about TMac.. IE New Jersey... TMAC IS HEALTHY.. HE WILL NOT UNDERGO SURGERY.. PLS TRADE US CARTER!
I don't think T-mac will back . He may really want to have the surgery. Also he takes the risk, he couldn't guarantee he will play next season or further future.
Is it possible that instead of TMac "feigning" his injury to avoid getting traded, the Rockets have actually been trying to cover up the severity of his injury to make him more tradeable? It looks like that's potentially what happened with the Hornets/Thunder trade, with New Orleans trying to play off Tyson Chandler as healthier than he actually was so that OKC would take him. I could see the Rockets as knowing that TMac was probably done for the year but not wanting him to officially announce that incase another team would be foolish enough to trade for him and not inspect his knee thoroughly. Probably not the case but it seems just as logical as any of the other speculation regarding the situation.
where is he going to get an opinion?? He already went to N.Y and Chicago. Where is he heading to now??
This whole situation has a stink on it, the same kind of stink that year we lost to the Mavs in the first round. Something isn't right. Why are Morey and Les on different pages? Why is Les suddenly BFF's with Tmac? Honestly, either someone is going to get fired or traded. Personally, I hope traded and not fired....
