Damn good point. Lost in all the dem v repub stuff is this. The $780 billion stimulus fund (and Bush's stimulus) was no doubt riddled with hundreds of millions here and there to political insiders. Every crisis the government 'responds' to with a new bill is full of junk spending like this. Our government is forcibly transferring wealth at the expense of the lower & middle class and the next generation and yet the people demand more.
Amazing how America managed to muddle through all this time after the "New Deal" weath transfer regimes. Things could have been so much better in the "wealth-tranfer-free" Randian paradise that some people salivate over.
