I will buy a ticket to a home game against Toronto (or whatever team he ends up on) and BOO his selfish butt off the court. I don't care what anyways says. He deserves it. Who's with me???? I'm organizing a CC.net Hakeem Boo Party. Reserve your seats now!

    Forget what I said.

When the Raptors come to Seattle, I'll be wearing my Rockets Hakeem jersey and cheering the entire game for the greatest Houston Rocket ever.

    Damn straight!

Sorry New Kid, but your sentiments aren't shared with this Houston fan. I'm realize now that Dream more than likely won't be back and although I'm disappointed I won't boo him. I don't care what anyone says, I don't think it's easy for him. Maybe this was his choice for a while, but was afraid of Houston's reaction. I don't blame him if that was the case. I don't think he's making the right decision, but I wish for nothing but the best for the man and I hope I'm not the only one. It'll really suck that he'll have a dinosaur on his jersey, but he'll always be a Rocket in most peoples' mind. When this is final you have to admit that the day of his announcement will go down as one of the worst days in Houston history.

    Goodbye Dream. [IMG]

I probably won't boo him, but I will have a hard time forgiving him for dragging this on and hurting our chance to get the maximum ability to replace him in the middle for next season.

Everyone loves Hakeem deep down but the sad truth is that he screwed the Rockets over.

I won't boo Hakeem, but I won't cheer for him again either.

In my opinion, he did not give 100% last year and kept the Rockets out of the playoffs with his sulking. Look at his numbers after he realized he had lost the PR battle about his demanded trade. He was just playing for this year's contract- not to help the franchise.

This year, he has kept the Rockets out of the running for free agents that may have been able to help this team.

I wish Hakeem liked the Rockets half as much as I do.

    He screwed us over?

    Huh?

What the hell did we lose b/c of the Hakeem negotiations?

Please don't say Nazr Mohammed or Todd Macculough, if the Rockets were at all interested in those players, there would have been more serious talks involving them.

there would have been serious talks if not for the ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE pr hit the rockets would have taken if they'd have just let hakeem loose.

Booing just doesnt enter the picture for me. During introductions, I'll cheer loudly for Hakeem for what he has done for the Rockets in the past. During the game I will cheer the Rockets of the present to totally demolish Hakeem and the (insert new team name). I have no problem with his place in Rockets history and will respect him for that. But I am a Rockets fan first and foremost. So while Dream dons another uniform in our house, I will cheer for our guys to mop up the floor with him.

I get courtside seats at Air Canada Centre every time I go up there.....It's going to be sickening watching him play in another uniform. But I won't boo him.

Exactly who would the Rockets have had serious talks with if it wasn't for Dream?

It wouldn't be Chris Webber because the only reason they let up on that chase was because they drafted Eddie Griffin.

It was almost a foregone conclusion that Nazr was going to re-sign with the Hawks.

Todd Macculough isn't really anyone to cry over either.

All I got to say is that I am sick of hearing how Hakeem wants to go to a team that wants him for what he can do now. Will he ever get it! YOUR TOO OLD HAKEEM! RETIRE! There is no way he can last 3 more years. He barely made it through this year. He is making a big mistake by continueing. However, I won't boo him. I'll save my boos for Quitten.
