I know that I have posted this in the wrong forum but I need some help. I am planning on going to the Rockets game tonight and I wanted to know if anyone knew the cheapest ticket that I could buy from the box office tonight at the game? I haven't been to a Rockets game in 6 years so I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out. Also, since it will be a given that the seats will not be all too good, how hard is it move down to a lower level? Do they always check your tickets?

Please reply ASAP so that I can decide on what I am going to do.

    Thanks for any help!

If they haven't sold all the cheap seats yet, you can get a ticket as low as 10 bucks.

As far as moving down ... I dunno ... they seem to police the isles pretty well, but the Summit's a nice size. There really aren't too many bad seats in the house.

How quickly do the cheap seats usually sell out?

That's a question for either the Rockets brass or Ticket Master to answer.

i went to the Cavs game and bought tickets 30 minutes before show time. The cheapest tickets we could buy were 26.50. It seems on the upperdeck you can 'move down' but it appeared they were policing the lowerdeck.

Usually the cheapest tickets you will find around game time is for 26.50.

You can go down in the lower prom because they dont really police that hard. If you act like you are supposed to be sitting down there then they wont bother you. I do it all the time. I have 13.00 season tickets but for the most part I sit in the 59-75.00 seats all the time. And man it sure makes a difference.

I usually dont go down till after the first timeout of the second quarter because hopefully by then everyone will have shown up who is gonna show up.
