Could be worse. My parents are living through 120*F weather already. (KSA).

I don't mind summer, but I'm currently in a maymester and summer 1 (next week) classes.....so it's not exactly fun.

 

Reasons 3, 4 & 5 are just a few of the reasons I moved to Colorado. We'll leave a light on for ya.....

I'm not a huge fan of summer either. I hate when you can't even be outside in the evenings because it is so muggy.

I can deal with work. I actually like to work most of the time. I b**** about work but I get kind of tired of sitting around the house for extended amounts of time. Plus I like money coming in. I know teachers get paid in the summer but I couldn't live on a teachers salary. I appreciate what teachers do and I know I don't have the patience to do it but I also know I couldn't swing it money wise either. I'd rather work.

This will be the second year in a row where we are going to Sweden for the month of August. I just wish we could stay for the month of September too.

 

Summer is the second best season behind Spring. Nuff said.

i have a friend, and she's a teacher in her second year, and she has been counting down the days.

her ass is off to France in a few weeks.

summer is awesome
hot weather to make you appreciate the cold and cool
pools are open
the beach is great
it stays bright outside until past 8pm
minute maid park is a decent place to visit
summer movies (although i dont really go to the movies anymore)
snowcones taste better
and it puts a smile on my childrens face to be on summer vacation

 

Summer weather in Texas is the number one reason I live in California. I'mgoing to Austin in a few days and I'm dreading the weather before I've even started packing to go there.
