During my holiday in Peru I proposed to my girlfriend. We stayed 4 weeks in Peru, of which the first in the Tambopata nature reserve. During our stay at the nature reserve I proposed, and she said Yes. I’m very happy, we are getting married this summer. We are going to Madagascar for our honeymoon. I just wanted to share with my friends at Clutchfans We have been living together for 5 years. So I thought this was the right time. It is very different in the USA from the Netherlands. We are one of the first in our group of friends who are getting married. It is normal here to life with a girl for years before you get married.
Congrats arno_ed! To be fair, it's not all that different here. I lived with my wife for most of 3 years before we got married.
