Finally got my first one yesterday evening. Amazon shipped much faster than Best Buy who charged me more for shipping, but is taking more than a week. I don't know what to think of it. I'm barely able to operate an i-phone. As a technological idiot maybe I should have gone with the I pad,, though my frugal wife would still be sqawking. Anybody want to make some money training an old guy? Just kidding, but I may get back to you guys later. Now I need some accessories. I tried two Bestbuys and a Staples last night. Nothing.
How do you know you'll get it by Sep 8th? What type of shipping did you select? Was the shipping info in your confirmation? All I have is: Carrier: VF3-ECON VALUE FRT Economy freight... at least I hope I get a tracking number... snail mail would be terrible
Just got the charging station and the HP official case from local W Mart. Will have to return with Best Buy Ad to get them to match. They were the last two. No touchpads, of course. Consumerism can be fun.

i stopped at BB this morning since slick deals says are in stock. there was one other guy. manager came out and said theyr not getting any. (Copperfield,and 290&spring cypress).
I got mine at Copperfield on Wednesday morning, there was only five left and I got the fourth. Hopefully the ebay prices will go down, I'm still looking for one more for my dad, hopefully one of the orders online come through.

Also hit the link to precentral's touchpad forums, the stickies especially have lots of great tips and tricks for using it. I'm on old guy too glynch, if I can learn to use it effectively, you can also.

not so fast as has been posted already, HP still has some in warehouses that hasn't been sent out yet. Best bet is to keep checking HP's store if you really want one.
