What is your opinion on proportionate responses? They weren't elected. They weren't hired. They weren't even published. Even if they are (ever) they are still subject to criticism. Again, Coulter wrote one line in a book. Who's drawing the attention to it. I'm sure that Coulter feels like her book has far more substantive things to offer than this little fury. I haven't read the book, but all people keep citing is the one line. If you find something more substantial let us know. Then so be it.
There were a couple of lines in one whole chapter of the book about it. Even if it was just one line on such a nasty level, and completely unwarranted, then the response should be massive. Why? They haven't done anything. They advocated forming the 9/11 commission and then they advocated putting to place the commissions recommendations. That makes them subject to personal criticism? Her books rarely contain things with more substance, and are usually full of incorrect 'facts' or flat out lies.
The absolute pure stupidity of this is... If Al Franken says these things...oh hell, if any Democrat says the EXACT same things that Crazy Coulter hates out of her mouth, then these EXACT same people defending Crazy Coulter, would be so turned in the opposite direction. PLEASE dont try and say that this would not be the case. Id like to think, that this is a difference between the Chickenhawks, and Libs. I can look at a point be it, anti dem or anti repub and call "wrong" regardless.
Uhhh, no. I actually read Frankens book. He's quite a good writer, even though I disagree with most of his points. I certainly didn't blast it, although I thought taking a pot-shot at Limbaugh was well below the belt and fairly classless. Did you read Coulter's book before lambasting it? No, you didn't. While I'm not nearly as uber-conservative as Coulter is, I agree with more of her points than Frankens. I consider myself much more on par with Dennis Miller and Neal Boortz.
You know what book I read on my honeymoon? "Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot." Mrs. G got tired of my giggling in bed... That whole book was dedicated to demeaning Limbaugh; he sure slowed down that train didn't he? This is symptomatic of the problem with liberality. Things you don't agree with you put yourself above and distance yourself. That's just ridiculous. I can actually consort with people and ideas that I disagree with without feeling dirty or threatened. You can't-- sorry to say. Apparently.
The fact that you can sit here and trumpet reading a book "demeaning" Rush "the hypocrite-throw all the drug addicts out of America" and do nothing but giggle shows me that partisanship runs deeply through you. Hacking but claiming a lack of hacking is an old trick used to prove your not hacking. If democrats distance themselves from things we don't agree with, why do we lambaste - quite easily due to his complete failures as president - The DECIDER? I consort with my best friend everyday. Who happens to be a staunch chicken-hawk, right wing Hannity wacko. Even made this ridiculous site. www.nomooreantiamerica.com I dunno, I'm feeling I consort with people of differing views just fine. Which obviously you --------- cant, and ASSumed wrongly.
Go ahead... make my day! I'm squinting and uttering this in a hoarse voice. (Notice I didn't include the term "punk"...)
