He signed a contract in '08 when he was really good, got injured last season and earned the money he was owed. Simple as that.

Yao got paid what? $35m for 5 games over 2 years, that's just how guaranteed contracts work.

This isn't the NFL or Horse Racing where they shoot you in the head when you get hurt.

I think the CAVS offered him a 2 year deal. Would not like my chances if I were them.

I see now that Dwight is on the Rockets and the consensus best center in the leage, clutchfans have now gone after Bynum.

Hilarious how much crap people here talked about Dwight, especially in all the Yao vs Dwight debates and now that he's on Houston, he's hands down the best center in the league and now Bynum is the focus of clutchfans bashing. So typical, just lol.

Bynum is one of the few true centers in the league with tons of potential when healthy. Thats why he's coveted and that's why he gets paid.

And I'm seeing a bunch, not all, CF members saying this same thing about Lakers fans, how when Dwight was in LA he was proclaimed the best center, but once he left, he was essentially downgraded and proclaimed overrated.

People are people are people, no matter which team you follow.

That's right, but why does it have to be this way? Aren't people intelligent enough to see that their logical opinion and views are so clouded by bias that it makes debate and discussion totally useless?
