Papdapolus (center for the Greek team) has good post moves. Would be a good power forward candidate. Has he been drafted by anyone in the NBA? If not, what do you think about signing him?

LA Clippers has his rights, if i recall correctly.
They actually offered him to come over last season, but he turned it down.

The one drafted by the Clippers is Baby Shaq, a black dude.

This board is just starting to begin tolerating the Chinese fans around here, but I'm not sure we can handle the Greek fans as well.

Man, there sure are a lot of Baby Shaqs in the world. Every other year, another player comes along nicknamed Baby Shaq. There are probably as many of them as there are Baby Shawn Kemps.

Sofoklis SCHORTSIANITIS looks more like Robert Traylor than Shaq to me...

Papadopoulos is not bad a player--for Europe that is, but he has his moments, which means he's not stable in his game. He can have 5 good games in a row and then another 5 bad ones, for no apparent reason at all.

Plus that he's not as strong as you'd like a center to be(of course that can be improved with proper training). However he's a 7 footer and his moves are really good. But it means nothing. Anyway, if we'll get through France, you'll have a chance to watch his performance against team USA.

If you're looking for Greek players that could possibly play NBA game(besides Spanoulis), I'd say your top picks should be Schortsianitis, Diamantidis, Dikoudis, maybe Papaloukas and maybe give Fotsis a shot, he's a much better player and stronger than his days in Vancouver. Ofcourse Fotsis and Papaloukas will not leave Europe now and Diamantidis is reluctant, but these are the only prospects we have. The others are good, but not NBA material.

AND, I don't think I like the comment about Greeks. It's not like "you've seen one you've seen all". That's a really simplistic logic. You'll have to wait and see if you'll like us or not, or like some/dislike others.

As for Schortsianitis, he's a Greek citizen and I don't really care about his parents, but his game. He's certainly much more Greek than, say Hakim was American when he played for USA, as I see it. In any case it's how you feel, right?

this baby shaq needs another 5 years before he can even think about the NBA. Oh and he really looks like Trayler, not like Shaq.

Hey man.. on a rockets board.. you can at least spell Hakeem right. In Houton sports his name is almost equal to that of Odg.

    Yeah, sorry about that.
I didn't mean to be disrespectful, he was one of my favourite players.
