Did you see him two years ago in the final four. He just like Brian grant Has so much love for the game and is great around the basket. Furthermore he can play defense he will be able to go up agaist the big names like.... Chris webber(thats if we dont get 'em.) What are your thoughts of mark Madsen ------------------ Roxs team of the furture. IM bACK!!!!
BARF!! I went to college with him and he is a dork. (no frat parties for you Poindexter (Madsen)) ------------------ Rockets: 82-0 in 2001. If you don't think so, you are a negative Grizzlies fan.
Sky Pilot- Do you ever have anything real to say instead of just making up crap. I didnt ask if u whent to college with him or if he was a dork. Could u please stick to the question. Or you might not be here long enough to answer anymore question, IMO. Sorry to everybody if theis Reply was pointless. ------------------ Roxs team of the furture. IM bACK!!!!
No, I don't want Madsen. He makes Bullard look good (I have seen both play in person numerous of times). ------------------ Rockets: 82-0 in 2001. If you don't think so, you are a negative Grizzlies fan.
Love Madsen in the second round... of course, still have to see who else is on the board. Remember that greyhound vs. rottweiler post? Somewhere along the way we have to pick up defense and rebounding. Mad Dog might be part of that answer. ------------------ There are 3 kinds of people: those who can count and those who can't.
Sky Pilot, You are a Stanford graduate? Mango ------------------ Live long and prosper. Donate Blood!
Yes. But that is an overrated title. My Stanford econ. degree is equal less than that of an UT-Austin economics degree according to U.S. News and World Reports (GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!). ------------------ Rockets: 82-0 in 2001. If you don't think so, you are a negative Grizzlies fan.
Now everything has become clear. ------------------ "Stranger things have happened, but none stranger than this" - Commentator after a parachutist landed in the ring of a Tyson fight
Not that I want to agree with Sky Peanut, but he has a point about Madsen. I have seen him plenty, and in multiple games against the Kevin Freeman's, Micheal Wrights, Woods's, Moiso's, and Gadzuric's out there, he has been less than dominating. In other words, his heart and strength work real well against average sized college competitors, but he doesn't have any aspect of his game to fall back on when facing other big boys. I don't see his game translating to the pros. Of course I wouldn't object to a mid to late 2nd rounder for him to see if I am wrong, but I think he will be gone. ------------------
Did you see him two years ago in the final four. He just like Brian grant Am I the only one who was having trouble picturing Mark Madsen with dreadlocks? ------------------
Rocketsauce I don't wanna sound like a party pooper but that was Holyfield-Bowe II. I am a huge boxing fan so I just had to point it out. ------------------ "We need to fockass".....Dream back in the day
Dork or not. Madsen always brings an intensity to the game which I noticed often seemed to rub off on his teamates. He is definitely one of those guys who is willing to fight for every rebound and loose ball. That kind of intensity is definitely a quality that Rudy values, particularly in second round picks. I doubt that he will go in the first round, and I think he would be a great second round pick-up who could be a valuable spark plug type of player. After watching Cato's short attention span all season, I think the Rox could really use someone consistently hardworking under the basket. ------------------ "Someday I'd like to do something really meaningful with my life.
