Your honorary UH captain for the Rice game is... The Mac Daddy himself, Tracy McGrady, will take time out from his busy Rockets schedule to serve as honorary captain for the Cougars during Saturday's game against Rice. McGrady, along with UH alum and Rockets' TV announcer Bill Worrell, will be at midfield for the coin flip and be on the UH sideline for the game. McGrady, of course, will be wearing a Cougar jersey. Nice little coup for the Cougars, if the 6-8, 223-pound McGrady can be deemed "little." When I get a chance I'll try to Photoshop a nice Houston jersey on McGrady. Maybe they can sneak him into a basketball game, too. Nah, he's way too tall for the Cougars... http://blogs.chron.com/cougars/2007/10/this_just_in.html
Why the heck would T-Mac choose one school over the other for the Bayou Bucket? Is he taking night classes at UH or what?
UH gave the Rockets Elvin Hayes, Akeem Olajuwon, Clyde Drexler and Carl Herra....and two NBA titles.....that's why.
Everyone in Houston has taken night classes from UH at some time Also, Ryan, will you throw out any first pitches at Cougar Field this season?
