Now that Charles Barkley is done for his career and Hakeem is still out do to injury , I think that Rudy Tomjonavich should seriously consider using Kenny Thomas in the starting lineup. For the simple fact that he makes a better fit than Carlos Rogers would. I believe that right now without Hakeem Olajuhan that he is our best post up player. This would allow us to not just totally abandon the post, and just jump straight into a running game that would be disasterous. Also due to his shooting range, he would also make this a better pick an roll team. And when Hakeem does get back, I believe that he will be playing well enough that he might force Kelvin Cato back to the bench. You see Kenny Thomas is just a much better offensive player than Carlos Rogers, and any other Rocket big man at the current time, and with him in the staring lineup the options are endless. Also we should start looking to next years draft, when we could possibly have 3 first round draft picks, and two second round picks. This is clearly a lottery team now.
