I don't really care now. I don't let external forces affect my enjoyment of sports.

Except in the rarest of circumstances, people don't show up until a team is really winning. This is true all around the country. The Cubs are the exception, but that's more about the draw of Wrigley Field and that environment.

One exception to that rule seems to be the Houston Texans. That franchise has been a disaster....and there's a waiting list for season tickets.

    I'd welcome bandwagon fans.

    We're good, why not?

And then once they become bandwagon fans, true fans can convert them. It's a win-win.

I welcome all the fan no matter who they are but we do need to get more noise since it was a home game against the defending champ. If the guy in front of you were not going home deaf you were not doing your job cheering. I am just kidding. But let us show our support for our home team by showing up for the game wear red and scream as loud as you can.

It doesnt matter how long u have been a fan, but some rockets fans arent true rockets fans. Some like the team for individual players only and others are just bandwaggoners. Its not about how long u have been a fan, but i do think longer tenure fans tend to have a better sense of the franchises history and therefore a better appreciation for times like now. There really is no point tho. I was just responding with personal feelings.

That being said, it has been a very very very long time since this Rocket fan has felt this good about the depth of our bench. I truely believe that this will play out in the final quarter of the season/playoffs. When other teams will have been running 7 player rotations with thier stats taking a pounding all season long, we will have the opportunity to run 8-9 deep and be solid. I'm betting by mid season Yao and Tracy will see about a 5 minute per game decrease in playing time, becuase when we go to the bench we aren't just putting in a warm body while out staters are getting a quick breather. Our bench will be able to be on the floor for extended minutes and be productive.

But by definition, they will likely hop on the next passing bandwagon. It's hard to convert heathens.
