my earlier accounts were increased to 250 MB. my other two accounts are still at 2MB. its good news that some people are now getting the 2GB accounts.
I gues they are doing it randomly or maybe for people who actually us Hotmail more....who knows... mine is still at 2mb and i don't mind becuase i don't use it and if they increased me to 100mb that mean i would have more room for their spam mail.
2GB of email..that's just crazy...i don't know how you can use that up lol...unless you store stuff. I have Gmail and i can't fill that up at all lol. Sometimes i want to send stuff to myself to just make it look like i have something.
As soon as I saw the 250 MB increase in mine, I immediately checked with my co-workers' hotmail accounts. One person here even emailed the guys at HOTMAIL, and they responded that it will take them VERY VERY long to do it for everybody. They're doing it slowly. The same person's email account changed just a couple of days ago. My wife's is already up, and hers starts with S and mine with A
I have had my account since '97. akeem1@hotmail.com I'm just attached to it. I only use it for the crap of the crap. I check it every three months or so.
i have two accounts, one that i send crap to, and one that i use. they gave my crappy account the 250mb and i'm still just at 2. dammit.
Mine was just upgraded as well. I was worried for a moment that I was being charged for the extra storage space until I realized that I never gave Microsoft my credit card info.
