I had been trying to post this sooner, but I had problems getting on to the website. Anyway, this loss was absolutely pathetic. I was gonna give Mobley some props because he had a great stretch in the 4th, but the Rockets went to the well too many times. Walt made some big shots, but the Rockets down the stretch were so worried about getting the ball to Mobley that they didn't get Walt some more looks. They were rotating off of him and the Rockets instead would give it up to a covered Mobley. This loss hurts big time. They just had to win this game, especially because now, even if the Rockets win the last game, they're in the same situation as they are with Minnesota as far as them lossing the tiebreaker. I was disappointed too to see Francis not assert himself more. He was schooling Kidd. This pattern is all too familiar for the Rockets.

Walt did hit a big shot in the 4th to put the Rockets up four. He did hit some big shots in this game. But again, the Rockets just didn't execute like they needed to. This reminds me of the Dallas game a few games ago. There's no excuse for the Rockets losing this game. None.

Another thing I want to add is that Shandon should have been put in sooner to check Marion. Mobley couldn't check Marion. When Rudy finally put Anderson in the game to guard Marion, Shandon played tough defense on him and he missed the shot. The Rockets unfortunately couldn't come up with the rebound. Just so many mistakes by the coaching staff down the stretch in this one also.
