the rockets win has given fans a lot of hope for better things to come this post season, and next season. however it has been only one game and we have to stay hungry and keep on improving.

yao ming will not be perfect everyday and aaron brooks wont play like derrick rose everyday but hes to HOPING that the same level of intensity and execution is seen from ALL or players throughout the series and hopefully next round. we have to take it one game at a time, we have a lot of good things to look at on film

if brooks can keep his turnovers low and hit his open jumpers he can really help us out. he doesn't need tons of assists he just needs to keep our offense consistent.

we need yao to continue to be a threat in the paint and hit that mid range shot wen its needed. and we definitely need scolas hustle and ron and battier to play good defense and get us some extra offensive possessions. thats how we advance and get deeper into the playoffs, if we do these things consistently we can hang with anybody. our bench play is strong enough to keep up with any bench in the league

we definetly need lowry, wafer, landy and deke to play hard wen our core guys are sitting..

i make this thread as may first thread to bring some realism to the board where i see a number of optimistic posts. we should be confident in our team but lets not think its over yet, we've been up big before

being efficient on offense and keeping the intensity high on defense will be key in carrying us as far as we plan to go.

i cant help but think that roy and aldridge are highly awaiting game 2 as we speak, so the rockets in-turn have to be prepared for whatever the blazers have in store

but with what we showed opening the playoffs on saturday there is plenty of hope.
