I'm out of the loop on the new electronics stuff, so I hope some of you can help me out a bit.

I have a pair of Bose 301's and I would like to hook those up to my TV through a new home theater receiver.

    Two questions:

Is there a stand-alone receiver out there that handles AM/FM and comes with a built-in DVD player? (In other words, I don't want the 5 speaker total HT package--just a radio receiver that plays a DVD.)

My Bose speakers connect to my very old stereo receiver with speaker wire. Will speaker wire work on the new HT receivers? If not, how do I convert my speaker connections.

    Thanks.

    Check out www.streetprices.com

They have a ton of information on different stereos/DVD combos and it will also find the cheapest price on any given model or make.
