    In that sense, everyone is "biased" about everything.

    He believes that certain metrics give a better indication of team performance than simply looking at wins and losses. Those believes are grounded in historical evidence. I wouldn't put too much importance to his rankings as some objective answer to who the best teams are. It's a significant improvement over simply looking at wins and losses, which is what most casual fans will do when they can't catch every game. It's not a replacement for actually watching games, if you really want to understand how a team is performing.

    I'll say one thing though: Hollinger's automated daily power rankings are actually pretty darn good, and are consistently (in my view) more accurate than any of the weekly rankings that are posted around the Internet.

    I don't see what's so annoying. At least his random thought is a coherent one. He was pretty close on the Boston prediction; said they'd have it close at the end. I expected a blowout.

    I posted similiar thread with different title but really I don't think Rockets can have 20 games in a row that they could win.
    14-6 would be great, but it is also a hard achievement.
