I agree with this only when trying to get a good buzz.

I do think your first 2-3 beers matter though.

I usually start off with a couple bottles of Good beer (St. Arnold's, Guinness, Modus Hop) then feel a buzz and switch to Bud Ice. Bud Ice is cheap but when you're buzzing you don't taste the difference anyway.

Save some bucks.
