Two questions about this upcoming movie:

    1. What the hell is this movie about? I've seen the preview about 76 times, and it has to be the most poorly made trailer ever.

    2. How in the world was www.holes.com not already taken? :D

I, too, have seen the trailer a billion times over the past month. In fact, when I went to see "Dysfunktional Family" and this damn preview was aired, I had to get up and leave the theatre. It's gotten even more annoying than "I'm gellin' like a felon, want some melon?"... Something I thought could never be surpasses in sheer annoyance value.

    But according to iMDB:
Stanley Yelnats IV (Shia LaBeouf) is falsely accused of stealing Clyde 'Sweet Feet' Livingston (Rick Fox)'s shoe donation to a local orphanage and will either go to jail or 'Camp Green Lake.' Stanley chooses Green Lake, where he is forced to dig large holes in the desert each day, by order of the mysterious Warden (Sigourney Weaver) and her assistants Mr. Sir (Jon Voight) and Mr. Pendanski (Tim Blake Nelson). But what the Warden is really trying to do is find a buried treasure that was cracked murderer Kissin' Kate Barlow (Patricia Arquette)'s fortune long ago. But when Stanley and his friend Zero (Khleo Thomas) escape, things get really bad.

lol, this movie looks so corny. The biggest dissapointment of the year though: Dumb and Dumberer. Without Jack Daniels and Jim Carrey, this movie is ****. I won't see it.

I think its about this boy who goes to this camp and discovers this weird curse over his family. Or something like that.

Oh and the star of the movie irks the hell out of me too.

    "Even Stevens"... please.

"Lizzie McGuire"... Now that's where the action is at (I'm really not a perv).

He's known about the curse his entire life because Fonzie tells him about it. He tries to break the curse at Camp, some how.

Tremmors was good. They need to make another Back to the Future movie. That was an awesome series.

It's a kids book. I teach 4th grade, and I read it to my students this year, and last. It's a pretty interesting book, but it's PG and all that because it was originally written as a book for children.

Maybe that will clarify stuff a bit....

drapg, I'm nearly the same way. I can handle trailers for movies I don't want to see, but this one is so badly done, it makes me want to get up and walk out.

I was actually impressed by the Dumb and Dumberer trailer.

I haven't seen it. I've seen the website though. It's just too dissapointing to watch. I mean it has nothing to do with the first movie. These fools are in HIGH SCHOOL. It just doesn't make sense.

Yep, a good children's book by Austinite Louis Sachar. Disney bought the rights and made it into a movie.

And they passed on Sideways Stories From Wayside School?! That would've made a cool cartoon series at least.

Holy crap did you bring back memories with that post!!!!

I totally forgot how much I loved that book as a child. I would love to get my hands on it again.

Thank you AntiSonic for bringing back a memory that for some reason had been supressed for more years than I can even remember!
