After Yao's performance today and Francis at 100%, Rockets are a lock for the playoffs. Unless injuries say other wise.

    why stop there?
i bet all the other texas teams are seriously looking over their backs right now. i'd say we make at least conference semis.

take our team from 2 years ago. we won 45 games. add yao, griffin, boki, and trade anderson for rice.

i think we may be looking at 50+. definitly playoffs.

Hold on a minute, the teams has a lot to go through before reaching the status of contender. They have a great deal of talent on paper, but it's still up to them to fully realize it. Until they prove to be a great team, it's just on paper.

well, we are definitly not Chaps.:D

BTW, you can edit your own post by selecting the the 3rd icon above your post. The one with the pencil over a paper. That way you could change Chaps to Champs without posting twice. And so you don't look like an idiot.:D Just kidding.:)

I had to edit this one. I had pencil over pen, instead of paper. :)

The Rockets are almost a lock for the playoffs. We just need to sign Francis and Yao, and were there. I still would like to get another small forward instead of Rice starting; I know Boki is on the team but most likely Rudy isn't going to let him start just yet. I wish there was some interest in Rice around the league, but thats another thread.

If you read the other thread about Lewis, you may be pleased. It basically says we have a very good chance of getting him, according to oeilpere.

We're also missing one big Olajuwan. I still think we make the playoffs if we're healthy.
