If I was a Republican, I would be rooting very strongly for Hillbilly Clinton to run for president.

Can you elaborate on why you think she is "WAY WAY left"?

If women voted their beliefs, don't you think they would vote for her? Unless, of course, they'd rather have less rights.

Bush is detested by millions and millions of people and he may very well be our next president.

    So what's your point?

Now you can take it with a grain of salt. But she has already stated that it is her intention to conclude her full six year term.

But people have been known to change their minds.

I for one would not like to see her run for president.

I agree with Mc. I think she'd win. Then my taxes skyrocket as her 1st order of business is to put the country on a socialized medicine program.

The people who are saying Hilary will run for President in 2004 are, by and large, the same people who think Pat Robertson is a moderate middle-of-the-road kind of guy.

Hillary Clinton will not run for President in 2004. I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that she never runs for President. She is too much of a lightning rod, and she would never get past the objections of the Democratic party leadership and big money contributors. She does not have the same type of political skills her husband has.

She won't win for the simple fact shes a woman. just like there will not be a diffrent race in the white house ... for at least a very very long time. Im sure we will see a woman in the white house before then.

I would be disgusted if she won the election in 2004. The woman has ZERO political experience and only even became a senator (in a state she never lived in) because of who her husband was.

I am probably the only person on this board that can actually say that they voted for her for senate. its true, I did. partly because Lazio is a putz, actually TOTALLY because he is a puts. I know people that worked on his campaigne, and they were putzes too. anyhoo I am not a Hillary fan, but i think she will be nominated as a VICE-president. I think that Women probably still dont have the broad based appeal to win a primary as the president, but I KNOW she would bring real strength to a ticket as VP.

you will see VP, than a failed attempt at presedancy.

I think it would be great for Hillary to run, IF Gore loses. Its not a guaranteed Bush win yet, but it looks like it will go that way. See, the economy is already slowing down in preparation for Dubya.
Hillary is a great person, who has done more than any other first lady. Plus, I think that America could only benefit from having a woman run the country. The gender gap would be wiped out.

Personally, I'm hoping Bill Bradley gets another shot at president.

Isn't that just pathetic? (Not you, space! Just that thought)

I mean, 51% of the country are women and yet we can't even consider the possibilty of a woman as president. What is wrong with this picture?

I'm not suggesting we just hand the presidency to ANY woman, but the very fact that it is a near impossibility that one would win simply based on her gender is outrageous and disgusting.

Then my taxes skyrocket as her 1st order of business is to put the country on a socialized medicine program.

Art: I sympathize with your concern over higher taxes. We all have that concern.

However, I assume you are able to afford your own healthcare insurance or have it provided by your employer. My wife and I have to pay for our own insurance because we are self-employeed, but we are lucky.

Millions of Americans are without healthcare insurance. A large chunk of those are children. They all deserve better. We all deserve better.

If you cannot afford healthcare, you have two choices in America: go without or go to a clinic or government run hospital. Neither are good choices because neither provide quality healthcare.

If a friend or family member was ill, I would want the best healthcare possible for them. However, if they didn't have insurance, there is almost no chance they would receive the best care available.

Sometimes, we have to make sacrifices in our own lives to make sure that others have a few of the advantages we have. I don't know what the answer to healthcare is but it sure isn't HMO's and it isn't no healthcare unless you can afford it either.

What, you want me to be specific? That is not the Dubya way.
She is a real leader, and she will be able to pick up where the great William Jefferson Clinton left off. She will fix what Dubya is going to break.

I would be disgusted if he won the election in 2000. The man has ZERO political experience and only even became a governor (in a state he destroyed) because of who his daddy is.

    I agree.

    Oh yeah, w/ RocketMan Tex.

I'm listening to these bozo 'moderate' southern baptists here in Gawga tell me about how "she's already said that she's going to run". Uhhhh yeah. Kind of as amusing as how TheFreak dragged up that 8 year old quote by Alec Baldwin and totally took it out of context.

Back to the topic (mmmm.... Bass), I'm betting that the Body will win in 2004.

Glad to see that what I post gets to you. Haven't heard from you in a while. What, were you busy stoning Henry Hyde and his family?
