Hey all - if this is inappropriate for the hangout, then PLEASE delete it - but I thought I'd let you know about an excellent PC game I've been playing! It's a MMORPG which is totally FREE to play, and is almost limitless in the things that you can do! wanna try the game out? Head to: www.dxgaming.com/obsidian then click on the 'getting started' tab on the left hand side - you can download the full game there (it's around 320MB) - while it's downloading, create an account and then get playing!! They've got a chat room specially set up for the game which is often active, so feel free to head in there and speak to people about any problems you might have etc! The game is a LOT of fun - it'll take some perseverance, but it's all worth it!
This is UO (Ultima Online), my first true addiction to online gaming. Oh the memories. There are MANY free shards out there, and each has it's own set of rules and mass followings. I played on one called ABC for around a year, but once I moved to Germany and didn't have access to the internet awhile my house rotted away and I said, Screw it! So my dream is for the recreationg of UO2 (which mythic is POSSIBLLY working on). For anyone interested in UO, give this shard a shot. There are literally hundreds of other free shards, so if this server doesn't suit your fancy, I'm sure another will. I haven't checked their rules or popularity, but UO is a classic and a true game to the roots.
