K I think after cooling down I realise I was probably too hard on Hedo...but still I don't think we should get him.

didn't we want to only giving up Shane in return for a legit star?

I read today that Orlando wanted Magette but were not willing to trade Hedo for him in a sign and trade.

That means we have nothing to offer them.

That's only if you think Maggette and Battier are the exact same type of player.

I'd suggest they are the opposite!

Battier is a defender who knocks down open 3pointers and would fit in nicely alongside Lewis and Howad.

Maggette is a slasher and scorer whose defence is worse than Turkoglus.
Why they'd give up a starting peice for a bench peice is confusing.

Our package would probably be contingent on Hayes going along for the ride too - since he's the defensive big they'd need as a backup.

Orlando is unlikely to take either deal, but at least Battier/Hayes is something they don't already have, and could be a help for the team.

Personally, I would rather have Shane on this team than Hedo.

And I understand where you are coming from, but to me, if I am a GM and I am considering moving Hedo Turkoglu, I am going to ask for more than Battier and Hayes

EDIT: Maggette actually had a better 3 point % last year than Shane

I would say NO!! to this trade but if we could get him in another trade involving Bjax,Luther I'm all up for Turko plus he is our answer we never seem to get it done in the 4th quarter and Turko is MR.4TH QUARTER and adding 20 points a game is pretty good!If Yao and Tmac have a healthy season we are gonna be seeing 60 points atleast from Turko,Tmac, and Yao!
