Claude insinuatated that there have been supers for a long while and that he's trained them. HRG had also made a few comments that give the impression that people with these kind of powers have exsisted before this current group.
Possible future content regarding the next few episodes: Spoiler Published reports are quoting Tim Kring as saying that a hero will die in the next couple of episodes. It is supposedly a female and one that has been with the show since the beginning. He also said that the dead hero will still be a part of the show but how big of a part is unknown. Early theories are saying Nikki/Jessica and Simone (who isn't a hero but has been on the show since the beginning. Others are saying it could be Isaac even though he is not a female. My theory on Claude from what we know; Bennet knows him, and he has trained supers before. I think he used to work with Primatech as a trainer. I also think he will have something to do with the fire that "killed" baby Claire. He and Bennet have both alluded to past adventures that have gone bad. Bennet with an attempted abduction and Claude with former trainees. I think the instances will be one and the same.
I guess anything happening between Claire and Peter is now out of the question! Too bad for her b/c it seemed she had a little crush on him after he saved her.
I just finished watching 10 or so episodes in two nights. All I have to say is this... Spoiler Can someone please ****ing cut Peter's hair???
That gave me a good laugh. Invisible man gave him s*** about that, too. He said something to the effect of, 'grow up. You still have your hair in your face, posters on the wall'
She's better as a blonde. She was a brunette most of that movie. I thought she looked her best in Varsity Blues, House on Haunted Hill, and American Outlaws. Maybe she's just not as hot as she was 6 years ago.
Ok, finally watched it...Hell, it was so hard to not look at this thread yesterday... Very slow, ok episode, IMHO...Claire's dad is Nathan..Playa!!! So Flying + Fire = indestructable...Cool...Now Peter can't tap that, its his niece..Why wasn't Sylar able to break out when he killed Eve...Was it all apart of the plan...I still don't know what that white thing in the back of Sylar's head? Sylar is evil...Love that character...So...Does HRG have any powers? I thought he would but maybe not... I like the invisible guy and him trying to teach Peter...Simone, man she's hot...Hiro, what can you say...I thought his dad was Linderman, but now its someone else...Niki still being around, please...that is getting old quick, IMO...
Actually, the more I think about it, the more Peter's power is just too ridiculous. He is way more powerful than Sylar. All he has to do is be within 10 feet of Sylar and he gets every power that Sylar has. Sylar, on the other hand has to eat a brain to get the power. Peter is God.
Not quite the same. They do have absorbing capabilities but not the same abilities currently. Peter has Claire's healing ability while Sylar is still looking for her, for example.
For those who watched it: Spoiler No one else is wondering if Isaac CREATES the future rather than predicts it? I think it was terriffic. I don't watch the trailers or go to the website or ANYTHING... I just watch the show, so my jaw dropped when they revealed Claire's dad. What's the speculation on Mikah's powers? I can't pinpoint it. If you know for sure from the website or something don't tell me. I'm guessing he can control electric current. Also, can we conclude that people can have the same powers (without brain-eating)? Claire's mom and the radiation guy?
Actually, when Eve pointing the gun at Sylar's head, he said that "you really think that will hurt me?" Plus He pulled that thing out of his head. Didn't see it head, but I'm pretty sure pulling something that's been dug inches nto your head out would kill you.
