the funny thing is that it seems like the only reason the nikki story is even there is because ali larter was the biggest star they could get , so they made a role for her. ironically, she is now the weakest character on the show and they're going to have to come up with some creative way to jam her back into the main storyline.

I'm surprised there hasn't been more discussion around Linderman after last night's show ...

I doubt it's simply a coincidence that his art interests include prophetic paintings *and* magic swords. Whoever this dude is, he is way ahead of the game in terms of understanding what the heck is going on.

the dual personality isn't convincing at all. during that scene, i kept thinking of Willem Dafoe in Spiderman...but he was so much better at it.

I agree, he seems to have a ton of information, not sure if he just has all this stuff and doesn't know quite sure what it is or he's fully aware of what it all means. I think he may also have a gift

to me it's always seemed like linderman was the puppet master behind everything -- for awhile I thought linderman and HRG might be the same person. I doubt it, but it certainly seems like the guy has his hands in everything doesn't it?

Ok, finally watched it...Here are my thoughts....

First of all, the invisible guy was pretty cool...He isn't the radioactive guy, but looks simlilar...secondly, Hiro is funny...I like him and it makes sense Lindermen is apart of the whole equation...Funny, Hiro was able to slow down time, not fully stop it, even though he hasn't be able to do it lately...Maybe its because he's mastering his powers...

Also, when Peter has his dream, you see Issac pulling simone away, but in Hiro's dream in an earlier episode, he saw Issac's head cut at his studio, which doesn't make any sense...Sylar was only able to kill Eve and not escape? Claire with the Hatian is very cool....I'm not sure what he's up to, but can dig it...I can do without Niki...

A cool note, Jack Bauer banged Nathan's wife...Matt finding out about primatech is cool, but has nothing to show for it...Yes, I'm a nerd and logged onto the website...:)

I'm pretty shocked that Heroes beat 24. Maybe more people are catching on that 24 has evolved into Jack Bauer: Champion Shark Jumper.

I wonder if we'll get another flashback episode or if they want everyone to catch up on the plot holes (Matt finding out about the Paper Co front, Sylar not escaping) via the online comics.

I strongly suspect that cockroach wasn't in Sylar's cell for no reason. Can't figure out how it'll come into play though.

I think it's been inferred that the dreams/future visions aren't set in stone.

Linderman's unveiling will be something else to see. It'll also be nice to see Mr Bennett's official affiliations and intentions revealed.

"Also, when Peter has his dream, you see Issac pulling simone away, but in Hiro's dream in an earlier episode, he saw Issac's head cut at his studio, which doesn't make any sense..."

Hiro has already changed the timeline such that Sylar's debraining Isaac won't happen or is at least delayed while Sylar is forced to escape. Peter and the radioactive guy being in NY to cause an explosion could still happen.

I guess I can buy that...Well, Hiro wasn't able to change the course of time for the waitress, but anything is possible...

Wow did no one watch last night. I was a little more into last nights episode than last weeks. I'm looking forward to seeing more interaction between Claire's mom and finding out who the Dad is. I think the mom may turn into a villain. I thought the invisibility effects were pretty cool. Especially when Claude walked away and Peter just appeared from thin air. I also got an email from Primatech paper today. I haven't had a chance to check it out yet. I'll post spoilers once I do.

I enjoyed it - Sylar adapting from the cockroach to fake death was fairly eery. I like the invisible guy's character too. I love how we still don't really know if Nathan is ultimately going to be a good guy or not. Captain Sulu!

Enjoyed the episode even though it seems like it was stuck in mud, nothing really happening. Liked the character stuff they showed.

Does anyone think this is the end of HRG? I personally don't think so but don't see why Sylar would keep alive either

enjoyed the episode as i have most of them but it did seem very slow during the 1st half. the 2nd half picked up with maybe 6 tiny surprises but nothing, yet, to go OMG about.

it will be interesting to see what happens with claires parents. someone pointed out that the mom could be bad. i would agree because apparantly claire was supposed to die from a fire - the mom is fire woman. im real curious as to what kind of power the dad has, or who it is. i have a funny feeling now that its someone thats already been introduced - thats just how the show works.

hiro is definately my favorite since the 1st episode. he adds a bit of comet relief. though why is his dad capturing him and one of his "goons" said that he had greater true power. hmmm...

one more note. i like what the invincable guy brings to the show. what will him and peter do together next monday?

Agreed...I think more of a set-up for future episodes...

I mean, c'mon, Sylar faking being dead...That was way too predictable...Claire finding her mother, the wh*re from Nip/Tuck...Hiro's dad trying to stop him, and then in subtitle showing "GULP"...ghey...Mikah has powers too...stealing...I don't even think Matt is the father of the kid on the way...The invisible story looks intriguing as he mentions teaching others...Well, I think next week's will be better and we will see what happens when Sylar goes to claires house and what happens to HRG

Only good thing is I think I saw Niki's butt.. :p

Ok a few things I have read elsewhere.

    1) Claire's dad is pretty well believed to be someone already introduced as a character. The top 3 ideas seem to be Nathan, Mr. Bennett or Linderman (with dark horses being Sylar, Parkman and the Haitian  )

    2) A theory I saw and liked was that Hiro's Dad may be Linderman.

    3) Support is gaining for Mr. Bennett to have a power. Many people feel he is the one blocking Sylar and not the Haitian.

Anyone think Claire's real dad could be Linderman?

One thing this ep showed was that "special" people have been around for a while. The show has focused on the more recently gifted but Claire's mom has had her powers for at least 14 years. She's a flamer and probably started the fire that "killed" her and Claire. Mom might have just gotten her powers and didn't know how to control it and started the fire that "killed" them.

Invisible dude has had to be around for a while to control his power and train others.

So Claire was calling all the Gordon's in Kermit, TX. Was her mother listed under Gordon but not Meredith? I mean if Meredith Gordon "died" why would she assume an identity where she changed her first name but not her last?

What was the white thing in the back of Sylar's head at the end of the ep?

How about not reading the thread until you've watched it. It is no longer a spoiler if the show has aired.
