Evan, I downloaded the first 4 episodes this season via torrents, and let me tell you, 24 is back to season 2 form. Badass Jack, actual surprises, and tons of 'oh ****' moments. I was skeptical at first too, but the China thing didn't bother me.

First 4 episodes/hours of last season was pretty awesome too (Jack on his own, fugitive, Palmer assassination), then it immediately snapped back to same old, same old. I'll probably watch some, but I have higher hopes for the film version. By the end of last season we were just MST3K-watching it.

This season looks to be less gimmicky and will actually involve some characterization, particularly on Jack's part.

btw for those who haven't noticed, there's been about 4 new graphic novels since the end of the season -- the last 3 have been a miniseries introducing a new character with...interesting powers.

I was just thinking- I haven't watched 24 yet. I'm saving it for a long, lazy vacation. Please don't spoil it for people who haven't seen it, guys.

I've really been torn over what I'm going to Tivo. I love both shows, but I can't really stand to watch the shows in real time. I know Heroes is on the NBC website the next day, but I really hate watching shows on my comp. I should seek spiritual guidance for me to decide what I will be watching. Life is full of tough decisions.

What a great episode, this shot gets better and better.

    What about the invisible man...?

I love how they bring in bit supers to add to the show.

Definetly great way to bring back the show from the break. Previews for next week look off the hook too! Can't wait.

It looked to me like the invisible man is going to end up playing a big role in helping Peter understand how to control his power. The Jessica/Nikki story has really done anything for me though. I just can't seem to get into it. I do like the fact that we are getting more from the Hatian, though. He is turning into one of my more favorite characters. I also felt like there were some subtle teases towards answering questions about who Bennett works for. I kept getting a sense of here is where they are going to tell us who he is.

Edit: HFS call the number!!! It actually works!!!! Now we need the access code!

The Gollum moment from last night was getting weak. However, Jessica kicks some serious tail. I enjoy her stuff just for when she tears people apart. Interesting that she tapped her power last night as Nikki and not Jessica.

Might show she becoming capable of controlling it as Nikki now

But like you guys mentioned, that story line doesn't seem to mesh as of yet, we'll have to see how it plays out.

Very intrested to see how the invisible man, mentor story line plays out.

Guys seriously, call Primatech Paper. You will not be disappointed!

Try calling them first. If you still don't get it then click the spoiler. A warning though my spoiler is very detailed about what to expect in the phone call. Do not click it if you don't want that spoiled.

Call 1-800-PRIMA16. It will tell you all operators are busy then go thru a menu. Select whichever you want but #3 personnel gives you an access code to use on the website. You can apply for a job with the company.
