Yeah, I see that, but with any crisis he can stop it one hundred different ways it seems. [Season 2 Spoiler] With the virus, for instance, if it fell he could just go back in time and prevent it. Even before that, if he had doubts about his partner destroying the virus, he could have just walked through the vault. Or read his thoughts. I'm sure there are a couple of other ways, I can't think of right now.
Peter has so many powers that he's getting Superman-syndrome. He gave himself a nice nose bleed using telekinesis on that vault door when he could've just phased through it...guess he forgot he had that power.
SPOILER ALERT It's funny you bring that up, because it kinda appears that authors make it seem like going back in time isn't always a failsafe. Look at Hiro, everytime he goes back in time he generally doesn't stop an event from happening. I do see your point, but at the same token I think that's why the Silar character is so important to Heroes, he is Peter's counterpart. He is as powerful as Peter. On top of that, his demented outlook on the world makes it harder for him to be taken advantage of. I dunno, I am just so freaking excited about the new season. Who knows, you could be right and this could bust so hard and Peter ends up being the savior once again.
Season 2 opened too many loopholes, as many have stated. You do have a near invincible peter. If you have heroes making stupid decisions through the entire season to compensate for their powers, don't expect the show to last long. "oh no, Clair fell in a trap and a bobcat almost ate her! Good thing jack bauer saved her!"
Yeah and I think that has to do with the writers strike...That nearly killed this show I hope it bounces back like the second half of season 1
to touch upon this Adam Munroe/Kensei used his blood to revive and heal Nathan who has abilities. Nathan does get shot in the end of season 2 and chances are he would be able to be cured by Adam's/Claire's blood anymore. and yeah the show was not all great in season 2 because of the strike I felt this show was hit the worst since it started and instead of leaving it open ended (keeping with the original story arcs etc) they tried to wrap it up and just make it a "full" season. Other shows just didnt air or aired after the strike. I am hoping for a much better season 3 tonight. Sylar being back is great. only question is that not sure how much more Hayden will age but if she is stuck being a "16" year old in terms of looks on the show how they may counter that since she will mature (facial features) in the next few years. Seeing how her and Adam have the same powers.
The Maya and her brother arc was useless though, I'll say that. Sure, they've definitely got some stuff to clear up but I think it'll end up being a solid Season 3.
agreed, seeing sylar seduce Maya was lame. Sylar only cares about destruction, not having sex with hot latin women.
sylar still a man though! i didnt care for maya or alejandro at all...mya seemed to be a whiny b**** to me. but sylar will end up killing maya and taking her power thats why he had her try to control it in one of the latter episodes of season 2 to see if he does take that power if he will need alejandro there to stop it. ironic both maya and the copy cat girl were (imo) really attractive women but had beyond terrible story arcs
Is that a promise? Yeah, I thought about that too...Last season was horrible and I can't sit through another season of that...I don't care how hot Claire is...well, maybe I do...
I KNEW IT! Told my girlfriend that before the end of the first season. Just the other night we were talking about last season and theories for this year and she said something to "Yeah, and you thought Spoiler Linderman was going to be alive, too" Cant wait to be right

Spoiler I just get the feeling that Linderman . . . ISN'T REAL . . .an halucination or apparition or something. Have we seen him interact with anyone but Nathan? Just my thoughts Rocket River
