This has been bugging me to no end. Way too much filler time in the episodes so far. I think the shows will pick up, but they've been pretty boring so far.
Who knows...just another reason why it seems like the writers couldn't make up their minds on his powers, and just let him suppress powers when it was convenient to the plot. However, what happens if Peter were to absorb the Haitian's power? Who would cancel who? Both or neither?
so what did yall think of this weeks episode? i thought it was pretty slow. next week's episode looks very good.
I've really enjoyed these first few episodes. The writing is much better this year then it was last year at this point.
This season has been SLOOOOOOW! ..... didn't get into this show until 2 weeks ago.... I can't stand Claire's bf...the kids gotta go... the guy is a horrible actor...I'm assuming he's going to try to kill Claire;s father, that's what I got from the painting..... So the boogey man is the mind reader's father? How the hell did Sylar end up in Mexico?....why is he helping the twins? Nathan burned himself while helping Peter? Too many unanswered questions.....
I believe the reason why sylar has lost his power is because he has that disease. No Hiro this episode! It was better than the last three, but Clair's stupidity is getting old.

So as far as I can tell everyone with powers has parent who had powers So Monica and DL and Mica [who has both parents with power] A part of me is wondering if the disease is also the source of the powers because I don't think Kensae had powers until Hiro gave them to him I mean seriously. .. am I expect to beleive he had lived that long [20~30 ish] with out even noticing he instantaneously heals????????? I'm disappointed that they killed candice so easily and made her so stupid . . . or worse the people she works for . . . Rocket River
I read about the actress that played Candice last season has a part on another show so they brought in another actress to take her place. They were happy with the replacement when shooting commenced, but they had already decided by that point to write her off the show in one episode.
Well Parkman, Nathan, Sylar, etc didn't find out about their powers till they were in that age range either.
I have been an avid defender of the show this season, but last nights episode was beyond garbage. The Katrina stuff in every show is beginning to get redundant. Claire and her boy from Smallville is like an after school special. About the only thing I enjoyed last night was Sylar. It does look like its going to pick up next week with Veronica Mars joining the cast. Im by no means giving up on the show, its still my favorite show. But it feels like it is doing what LOST did in its second season by putting out a bunch of filler episodes to prolong the series.
Sadly, the acting has gotten worse. But to be fair, most of the bad acting falls on the new characters. Missy Peregrym is now on Reaper (on the CW), which is another highly enjoyable show. (Check it out!) Agreed. Without Sylar, this season so far would be considered terrible.
Oh come on, yall didn't like Matt Mohinder Molly scenes or the Nathan Angela Matt scenes or the Nathan & Matt with the picture scene (I am an admitted Matt fan... so I loved all those scenes) I think you all are whiny. You want instant gratification instead of waiting for the build up. The best thing about last season was the build up to the episodes at the end. Personally I haven't been thrilled with all parts of any episode, but the Hiro plotline, Parkman plotline and HRG/Mohinder/Haitian plot line are good. And though parts of it have annoyed me the Peter storyline has potential. I like Alejandro (who I get the feeling isn't long for this world) but I HATE his sister. Sylar.. I mean Gabriel Grey is still a good villain so I am interested in his storyline matching up with theirs. They are still giving up little resolves in each episode so its not like there is no progression to the story. Instead of analyzing how much you don't like it just watch the show and enjoy it. Yeesh! If you are that disappointed with it, DVR the thing and fast forward when you get "bored"
Why can't I do both? I complain because I care about the show and need an outlet to vent. Besides, if you're going to take that kind of attitude, we might as well just shut down Clutchfans, seeing as one of the main purposes of this site is to nitpick the Rockets to death. Go tell the GARMies to "just watch the show and enjoy it" and see how far you get.
I don't think Hiro gave him powers, remember when he landed in past a similar ecilpse was happening to what happened in the start of the series. This episode was ok. The Claire story line is just meh for me, don't like the kid and he's written pretty horribly. Thought it was fairly intresting but it's slow right now, I'm patient and I think it's about to really pick up next week.
