Heroes and Cowards

    great post BobFinn*.

    WWII vets deserve to be applauded, too many people have forgotten the past and many would not even know what D-Day was if it wasn't for Saving Private Ryan. The second world war would have eventually come to continental America, if we wouldn't have gone to it. Hitler was bent on world domination, why would he have stopped in Europe or Asia? Men like Mr. Merli and DaDakota's grandfather fought to save the world from Hitler. We owe them for everything that we have today.

    I donated a few years ago to the National WWII Memorial in Washington DC, I suggest everyone else do the same. It won't be long before they are all gone.

    I am still ashamed of the way the Vietnam Vets were treated when they came home, if I ever see someone disrespect a soldier I am sure I will be going to jail.

    All Vets deserve honor and respect. They are all heros to me. Thank You.
