I figured I might drive everyone crazy like the last one by fadeaway and see if anyone can get this one...this might be a little easier though. I actually do know the answer, and if nobody guesses it I'll post it in a day or two. Here it is... What is more powerful than God, more evil than the devil; The poor have it, the rich need it; If you eat it, you'll die; What is it? If you've heard it before please don't answer it right away. ------------------ "Steve is good. Steve is real good." -- Cleveland's rookie point guard Andre Miller on Rocket rookie point Steve Francis
Ok, I edited my post DieHard... but I can't lie, I already knew the answer. But if it helps, I did get it right the first time I heard it... ------------------ "I personally don't think Jordan would have enjoyed playing with himself." -- JeffB lets us all know that Popeye and Clutch aren't the only ones with inside sources... (also an example of a BBS "sound-bite") [This message has been edited by Dr of Dunk (edited January 17, 2001).]
Thanks D. of Dunk....but I have a feeling this one isn't going to be hard for most people, but it might stump a few. ------------------ "Steve is good. Steve is real good." -- Cleveland's rookie point guard Andre Miller on Rocket rookie point Steve Francis [This message has been edited by DieHard Rocket (edited January 17, 2001).]
Oooh.. the answer is err.. *bites tongue* I got it the first time I heard it too. ------------------ My dream job is to be a Houston Rockets towel boy.
nothing ------------------ "There are some frauds so well conducted that it would be stupidity not to be deceived by them." Charles Caleb Colton (1780-1832)
that actually took me a while the first time I heard it but my sister who is very religious got it straight away ------------------ KD 12-21-99
That one is pretty easy. Is this the riddle where a university did a survey and more kindergarten kids got it right than college students? ------------------
Yup, that's the one. ------------------ "I personally don't think Jordan would have enjoyed playing with himself." -- JeffB lets us all know that Popeye and Clutch aren't the only ones with inside sources... (also an example of a BBS "sound-bite")
Wow...I didn't know that many people had heard this one before, but I guess they have. It took me a few minutes to figure it out the first time, but I've told it to others that couldn't get it. Maybe that just means that this board is extra smart . ------------------ "Steve is good. Steve is real good." -- Cleveland's rookie point guard Andre Miller on Rocket rookie point Steve Francis
so what is it? ------------------ people who are related dont have to look alike. my mom and dad dont resemble each other at all
Yes, the answer is "nothing" for the few of you who didn't get it. ------------------ "Steve is good. Steve is real good." -- Cleveland's rookie point guard Andre Miller on Rocket rookie point Steve Francis
You mean there is no answer?? Oh, man. Cool. ------------------ Nederland 2002 Rocketman95 on board. Check out his latest game recaps.
I remember the riddle by fadeaway... that was frustrating, everyone had answers that sounded right, but apparently weren't. Did he ever find the right answer and post it? I stopped looking after a while. ------------------ "Of course, everything looks bad if you remember it!" Homer Simpson
Yep, I discovered the solution just the other day. I was disappointed -- it was a pretty dumb answer. Anyway, here it is. ------------------ My dream job is to be a Houston Rockets towel boy.
I was really disappointed by the answer to fadeaway's riddle. A lot of the alternatives that were posted seemed like a better fit. ------------------
