Because their children don't go to public schools.

Would they extend the school day? That would make sense, but if they are just cutting the time all together, they need to increase taxes. I have no problem with schools going to four days a week if they increase the length of classes. That would save money on transportation, meals, & utilities. We have enough problems in this country with having properly educated individuals(both from private & public schools).

I would have a sales tax. I'm also all for having online companies to collect sales tax to help benifit other states as well. It is just too impossible to collect Use Tax on individuals who shop online.

Deal cut. At most, the school year will be shortened by 3 days.

Waiting to see about next year.

Call for the total separation of school and sate. Let the parents have full control over the education of their children and support a real market for education. Stop compulsory government indoctrination and socialist education.

That's exactly what we need, a bidding war over our schools. At the next city council meeting, we should also review which mercenaries to hire instead of the "sate" run police.
A corporation can be just as corrupt and inefficient as a government, just because it's "private" doesn't mean it's better, it just means you don't even have the formality of a vote.

Socialist education? What do you mean? Talk about an impossible idea. How is the family that moved here from the Ukraine and speaks no English going to educate their children?

Also talk about not providing equal access to education. The idea is completely laughable.
