I have to purchase about a 1000 of these for an event my temple is having. I just wondering if anyone has any these handy to find out how durable they are for a one day event. I have had them on myself before at clubs and events but I dont remember how difficult it was to remove them. I need wristbands that wont just come off by someone pulling on them. Something strong enough where they would have to pull extremely hard or use scissors to get them off.

I know vinyl wristbands may be the way to go but those are a lot more expensive and I dont think I am going to be re-imbursed for my purchase so I would rather not spend closer to 100 bucks when I could only spend 30.

anyone use of these lately? they are the paper wristbands that are held together with glue on one end that has like squiggly lines at the end usually in red

    thanks guys and gals!

Well, if this event is for your temple, don't you have a certain level of trust with the person to whom you're giving the wristbands? I'd think the wristbands are more than enough for an all day event of such a nature.

I've worn the same wristband for 3 or 4 days. But of course, as I've gotten older, I've learned how to take them off without ripping them to shreds. So like I said, if you trust them to not dick around with the bands, you're fine.

they arent for us though, we are putting together a medical camp of sorts to provide free medical care for the poor in the area so its a way for us to know who is who and so forth. i was just worried for the kids/teens who may play around with the wristbands and break it off. I've always remembered those to be really tough to break (even though they are made of paper)

as long as thats the case i am going to buy them

    thanks for the input
