Living where I live, I get NO college hoops coverage at all, so I'm asking you guys to give me some names of players I should look out for in this upcoming season, and also who you think the Rockets should be looking at. That way, at least I can follow it a little via the net.

    Thanks in advance.

Look out for Jason Williams (Duke, PG), Tayshaun Prince (Kentucky, SF), Zach Randolph (Michigan State, PF), and high schoolers Eddie Curry and Tyson Chandler. Peace.

    Gerald Wallace (I can't believe he hasn't been mentioned)--Alabama

Jamaal Tinsley--Iowa State (he's really wild but he has unbelievable upside and could really impress)

Eddie Griffin--Seton Hall (I always thought Griffin and Wallace were BETTER than Darius Miles, but I may be wrong)

There's Loren Woods (Arizona) and Brendan Haywood (NC), who should be the best centers in the NCAA. Look out for the Duke backourt of Jason Williams and Chris Duhon.

Joseph Forte- SG - North Carolina

Led North Carolina in scoring as a freshman. Has a great array of skills, and should be even better next year. He's a possible player of the year candidate IMO.

Looking for next year's Dan Langhi?

I forgot Dajuan Wagner (PG, Memphis). He's gonna be a freshman and he can hoop big time.

Juanny Wags will be entering the final year of high school, IIRC, not college.

Are you also a buckeye? I was just speculating since Johnson is at OSu & Gregory is from Columbus.

Johnson could have a monster year, especially if he can bulk up like he did last off-season and if he becomes a bigger role on the offensive end of the court.

4Chuckie- Yes, Columbus,OH. Good job picking that up.

I've seen him (Johnson) in person and I agree he needs to bulk up. I also question whether he is 6'11".

    Forte - UNC
Williams and Boozer, maybe Dunleavy, Battier - Duke
    Zach Randolph - MSU

    And some future players:
DeJuan Wagner - Memphis (fr. 2001)
Kwame Brown - Florida (fr. 2001)
Eddy Curry - May get drafted next year out of HS
Ermal Kuqo - Albania...was going to go to Tulsa. He is 6'11", 270 and skilled.
