Does anybody know a website that lists the cycles of the moon for about the past month? I need it for my astronomy class. I was supposed to do moon observations for the past month but havent been doing it like I should. Thanks.

Yes, Google found those searches, but I think he wants actual, recorded Lunar observations for the past month.

If you are looking for simple moon phases, then you are indeed a ****ing moron.

I can understand prcrastinating research for a paper or something, but not looking at the moon?

I don't even have to get up off my chair to see that. (out the window)

I know the phases of the moon, thats not the problem. I've been having problems with the direction in the sky (ex northeast, northwest, etc...) I'll admit to some slacking off though.

Wow...I'm in an astronomy lab right now, just finished doing the exact same thing today. We were supposed to observe the moon for over a month, but the professor didn't say anything until about 2 weeks ago, and expects us to have accurate data.

James...if your assignment is similar to mine, you need: date, time, Phase, East/West of meridian, angle from meridian, and I was given the Hour angle of each time of day. Then you figure out the Lunar Position.

So how did I do it? I searched the internet...that sight DoD gave helps, but I needed the meridian angles. If you have a textbook, did you get 2 CD-ROMS with it? One of mine was called "Voyager Skygazer"...and with that you can determine everything you need to know...then go to the sight DoD posted and sketch the phase for whatever days you select. This is of course assuming you have the same software I do.

Thats pretty much it. My textbook only came with one disk though. Thanks DoD too for that website.
