The Warriors must really suck. They have some talent at least, they shouldn't be that bad. They also made a big mistake by signing Antawn Jamison to the max. He's not producing.

    stupid? hell no.

props to them for continuing to try to win and play hard.

tanking is for pu$$ies. there is no way, live ive said before, nba players are gonna go out there and miss shots on purpose for a few more balls to maybe get lucky in a draft that they have nothing to do with, to maybe draft some kid in some college they dont even know.

jalen rose doesnt go out there and think this. neither does curry or chandler or best or hoiberg or....i cant think of anymore bulls. hehe.

    artest? no. nevermind.

the warriors are happy to be the worst team in the nba? dont they realize how much further they have to go? its not worth it. the worst team never has picked first anyways.

maybe this year is different but can jason williams or yao ming take the worst nba team and make them good? not likely.

I'm not sure it makes much difference if the Bulls pick 1 or 2. They are either going to get Ming (when they already have Chandler) or they get JW (whom they likley would take with the #1).

You don't have to remind me Krause went to China...maybe he was just bored or maybe he came back thinking Ming isn't that much better than Chandler in the long haul and Williams would be a great pick.

It's also worth noting that the worst record is not a lock for the #1 seed. Worst record gets 250 balls, second worst gets 200 balls. 50/1000 = 5% advantage to worst record - not that overwhelming an advantage.

Glad to see tanking is not contagious or epidemic!

I still say the Bulls need to bring in a veteran, someone with at least 3 seasons under him. They could get a lot better a lot sooner if they do.

Krause does want to get a bigger team, from what I understand (I almost wrote "Krause does want to get bigger"---HA! he'd be his own planet) and Rose and Cartwright want some veteran help. I don't know if $5 mil alone will do that. Maybe. But they might have to trade.

There will be more money off when Oakley and his 7 million hit the door.

I'd rather trade the pick for a vet. Around the boards you hear Bonzi Wells (no!) mentioned most often. Wally talk is picking up. I like that. His FG% is 50% and he's a jumpshooter---with Fizers play picking up, something may happen there.

Small stuff if you ask me. I like to think big.

I'd love to give up Williams (first or second pick) and Fizer for McDyess (a steal) and I think I'd give up as much as Williams and Curry for McDyess. Rose, McDyess, Chandler, Jamal, Hassell , E-Rob and Fizer is a nice nucleous. Rose, McDyess, Chandler, Jamal, Hassell, E-Rob and Curry is ridiculous.

Williams for Ray Allen. They need the leadership, we need the vet. He can be as laid back as he wants to be with Chandler and Rose leading the team---just put the ball in the hole.

I also like Andre Miller, whom the cavs are starting to think they may not keep.

Whatever the case, I expect Krause to pull off another big move that gets us into the playoffs next season. I doubt seriously that JET/C or Rose is involved though.

you wont get allen for williams.

but that denver deal is ok (curry and williams). however, why would chicago do it when there is no chance dice would resign?

Why do you assume he won't resign?

All those deals could be spiced up or down...

I think people are joking about the Bulls costing themselves the #1 draft pick. It goes back to the ongoing "Tank City" joke.

Hey, gettinbranded, would you take Eddie Jones? I know you'd prefer some of the other guys (who wouldn't?) but let's just say the Bulls want and need a veteran (and they won't get Ray Allen)...would you take Eddie Jones if Pat Riley got off his conservative ass and admitted his team needs to rebuild? (ANd not straight up for the #1/#2 pick; I have something else in mind)

If the Bulls looked like this:
Jalen Rose, Jamal Crawford, Eddie Jones, Eddie Robinson, Trenton Hassel, Eddy Curry, Tyson Chandler, Marcus Fizer.

    Would you do it?

Not the first pick I wouldn't. But I'm scared to death that Krause would.

I think Hassell will be that player with a another season or so under his belt.

    gettingbranded,

Any talk of the Bulls' eyeing Ming if they get the #1 overall? I know there were reports of Krause going to China to scout him, and he's said to be very impressed with Ming. Would he draft Ming, or is this just talk?

I actually think Williams would be a better fit than Miller, especially if the Bulls are running or continue to run the Triangle. I'll admit, I don't get to watch the Cavs very much, but it seems that Miller is most effective with the ball in his hands. Of course, as with all motion offenses, the Triangle doesn't require a primary ball-handler.

    Thoughts?

Well, Krauses theory is that basketball is simply a game of mismatches on offense and tough end to end 40 minute defense on defense. When it comes to offense, Ming fits perfectly in that theory if Tyson can play 3 (he can't, not today, not tomorrow either---maybe next week) and Eddy the 4. You'd have a 7'2, 7'0, 7'6 frontline...and who could easily matchup with that---expecially if Ming is the real deal?

I'm not sold---on it or on Krause drafting him. Rose is crying for vets, and Reindorf is on his neck. He won't make a bad move to please them, but he's going to try to please them first.

He's notoriously thorough, and I think that is all the China visits are.

(besides this is the lottery and Stern rules. Watch NY get the first pick and take ming)

    LOL

Chicago and Denver are miles apart. Rose and McDyess are a nice duo unto themselves, and then you've got JET/C coming up behind you...

I'd like our chances much better than yours.

btw, did you know Rose sat in this elite company last season: Bryant, Garnett, Francis and Kidd?

He was one of only 5 players to do a 20-5-5 +

It's hilarious seeing a Bulls fan and a Nugget fan go at it.

It's like Roseanne Arnold calling Rosie O'Donnell fat.

uh sorry. no. we have more wins now anyways. and we have everything you have upcoming. we have the better 'best' player. we have as much cap room. we got tons of great picks too. youth...vets. whatever. miles apart i agree with.

besides, your missing the point. he wants to win soon. he wont get that in chicago.

and i hope your not saying rose is of kobe/kg/francis/kidd caliber. i dont think you are though.

its funnier seeing a rocket fan insult the bulls and nuggets. i guess thats like starr jones or missy elliot calling both roseanne and rosie fat.

besides, i never insulted him or the bulls. i was merely saying mcdyess wont resign in chicago. i like the bulls team. but i also like my team too.
