what were iverson and kobe jawing about? i heard kobe's comments about 'friendly conversation' or whatever.. did iverson say anything after the game? ------------------ president of the sleepy floyd to hall of fame club. http://www.it-is-truth.org http://members.fortunecity.com/omar369
Kobe once again showed his idiocy with the media. He just can't reply to questions right. "Kobe, what were your words to Allen Iverson when the game was coming to a close?" "It was just some friendly conversation." "So, it was only friendly conversation?" "No conversations aren't friendly when we are in the court." He should of went to college. ------------------ [This message has been edited by NYKRule (edited June 09, 2001).]
No, Jim Gray said to him "It didn't LOOK friendly." THAT is when Kobe said something to the effect of "They aren't very friendly when we're in the heat of the battle" or something. Sticking to topic, although I still want the Lakers to win this series, I thought it was SO bad the way that Iverson was clapping with a big grin on his face, saying "Come to Philly. Come to Philly." While the Lakers won the game tonight, and will win the series soon, the Sixers got what they came for. ------------------ Jazzkiller
Yes he should have. ------------------ "Light travels faster than sound, so some people appear to be bright until you hear them speak." -- Brian Williams (now Bison Dele) commenting on Isiah Thomas.
Have you ever seen a popular American born pro-athlete speak more than one language? Kobe is your man. ------------------
Kobe es un tonto grande. ------------------ "Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning how to put food on their family while being put to death." It's back... Protrolls.com!
It's definitely not you. He's got Mike Issues. ------------------ "Light travels faster than sound, so some people appear to be bright until you hear them speak." -- Brian Williams (now Bison Dele) commenting on Isiah Thomas.
So I guess speaking two languages makes you intelligent? The MLB has many AMERICAN born athletes that speak two differenet languages! But that doesn't make them intelligent. Besides there are some players on the Sixer's, other than Mutumbo that speak different languages, that are American born. Bottom line is I can not stand KOBE BRYANT! ------------------ TheMugg
It does not take much to learn Italian when you live there for some time and have no choice but to learn it. Incidentally, if the commercial is any indication, he does not speak that well. ------------------ I have just realized that the stakes are myself I have no other ransom money, nothing to break or barter but my life my spirit measured out, in bits, spread over the roulette table, I recoup what I can nothing else to shove under the nose of the maƮtre de jeu nothing to thrust out the window, no white flag this flesh all I have to offer, to make the play with this immediate head, what it comes up with, my move as we slither over this go board, stepping always (we hope) between the lines
