Heat & Spurs, just to name two contenders, would LOVE to court Scola if he clears waivers. Instinct tells me, despite cost, LS gets claimed

That's if he clears waivers, and there is a likely chance that he doesn't due to the bidding system in place for teams with cap space. Personally i would really like to see him in Cleveland and light it up with kyrie irving and dion waiters

Latest amnesty scuttle: Cavs, I'm told, weighing up bid for Luis Scola. They've been fans of him for a while. Issue will be long-term cost

do the heat and spurs expect him to be willing to sign with them for nothing?

I am just glad he is not going to Dallas. I don't think my heart could take that.

He's probably going to end up at either the Bobcats or Sixers.

Scola is a bargain at 3+ million a year. Whoever gets him is going to get a baller warrior.

I wonder if he went to Spurs if TD would play center so he and Scola could play together?

    Duncan
    Scola
    Leonard

Wouldbe a hell of a front court

kind of hoping Washington makes a play for him. the team they have surrounded Wall with already looks to be a playoff team in the East.

Scola landing with them (or the Sixers) would definitely improve our Toronto pick

Both cities have huge Latin communities.
I wouldn't want him to play for the Heat though.

someone is going to make an offer.
considering their cap situations I would put both of those teams (SA & Mia) at the bottom of the list as far as likelihood.

they already have Tiago Splitter and Matt Bonner at center. They do need someone to back up Timmy so that you can still have production at the forward spot when he goes to the bench.

if he gets claimed via waivers he still makes the same salary
Houston pays the difference on the winning claim
