Bad shots (whether they go in or not) are bad shots. It is always stupid to take them when a better option is available (or could be available with ball movement).
The whole notion of being "hot" is supposedly a myth - as analysis done has shown that it's all just statistical abberation. However, I disagree. The reason I don't buy the statistical stuff is that confidence plays a big role in your shot...if you are feeling it...even when you miss, you are pretty darn close. But when you are not feeling it, man, you throw up some clankers. If a guy has made 5 in a row, I'd say you don't mind them taking a heat check. Because if they are on fire, they are on fire... However, that doesn't mean to change the way you take shots, and this is what rafer did last night. Instead of taking good shots like he did the 1st 3 qtrs, he started acting like t-mac. Rafer is not T-mac.
