Health Insurance help

    I need some help with some options as far as getting medical and dental insurance. I had it last year but my Dumb A** failed to enroll on time this year.. what are some good options out there for me... thanks

    It all depends on what your employer is offering you.
    What options do the provide you with...PPO vs HMO for health ... DMO vs PPO for dental...

    he didn't enroll on time. he needs non-employer-offered stuff i assume.. and sorry, i don't have an answer. i go through my employer and don't know beyond that

    Thats what i was saying. im not gonna be able to sign up with my employer cause i missed the deadline. I wanted some options outside of work

    I would start with finding out how much I'd have to pay for the employer health coverage. See if they will allow you to be insured if you pay the entire cost and use that as a starting point for how much you have to pay.

    yeah im in good health... 5'10 175 i just want basic coverage nothing special

    That is what I used when I did not go through my employer. It was not expensive. I did not use the medical but I did go to the dentist and it worked just fine and covered a good amount.
