Damn, I've had a headache for 2 days straight. I finally took 2 extra strength Tylenol tonight before I took a shower. The damn headache was gone by the time I finished my shower...maybe 7 minutes or so! WOW! What hell is a headache? Why don't headaches just go away? What did people do before asprin? Whats the longest you've had a headache? *Tylenol kicks ass! I should try it sooner than 2 days later.
I've had head pain for the last two weeks, whenever I nod my head. Now that isn't fun. It's really weird. The pain goes away instantly when my head is level, but shoots through my skull during a nodding motion. Pain killers haven't worked, but I feel like it's starting to go away. Seems like it might have been a kink in the neck. Still, I hate headaches.
What is that? A pinched nerve? Other symptoms? Did you see a doc? I don't think longterm headaches are a good thing to ignore.
Headache is often tension related. I used to have headache everyday in the afternoon. Then one day I read something on the net about teeth clenching and it dawned on me that I did clenth my teeth a lot when I was stressed. So I tried stop doing that and the headache was gone. Here is a good article about how to deal with headache: http://www.amerchiro.org/media/tips/headache.shtml
I had one for about 2 days before and then i finally hauled my self to eckards to buy some tylenol. man...as soon as i took those suckers i felt fine in the next 10min....i was asking myself why am i so cheap? I could have had it gone that fast.
Sounds like your headache was a clear sign of latent homosexuality. not that there is anything wrong with that. DD
get your eyes checked out...i had an awful headache that lasted a week a couple of years back...turns out it had been so long since my last visit to the eye doctor that my prescription was actually working against me!
I get the one right after my eyes can't focus and then it feels like a hangover headache with out the fun of getting drunk.
This is truly a miracle cure!!! But don't get hooked on Goodys...if you take too much too often, you'll develop ulcers. Good stuff though.
MrsDarkHorse: I just recently started to get migraines. They are called migraines with aura because I get blind spots so I can't see, my fingers and lips turn numb, and I can't make coherent sentences or write. Then I get a headache. The doctor gave me a perscription that costs $16 per pill Or he said take a few Excedrin or Aleve and put a cold washcloth on my head. Don't move and stay out of the light.
Actually, there is a virus or flu that is going around the country that gets you sick for about 7-10 days, but doesn't relent when you start to feel a little better after that 10 day period, you have symptoms of dizziness and headaches for several weeks after without treatment. I got it. And so did a lot of people. It's really strange. I took Tylenol but it did nothing. In my case Excedrin was the only relief I could find. Nothing else worked. I've never experienced anything like it before.
