After watching the past few games, I'm convinced our players are overly concerned with making mistakes. It seems as if everyone is thinking too hard and not simply playing basketball. Whenever anyone shoots, they never seem sure that's what they really want to do. As much as I like JVG, I wonder if he hasn't mentally castrated this team. Right or wrong, you have to commit and not have the "god if I miss this shot, JVG will show this tape at practice and I'll look like an idiot" syndrome. We need to get the swagger back, and fast!
Thinking is a good thing. UCMiller, they need to understand where they need to be positioned so, if they seem tentative now, they won't be when it counts -- in the playoffs.
