I'm from Houston, but stuck in Hawaii. A friend of mine is a huge Steelers fan and he got into this Steelers fan club here in Hawaii where they all met up to watch games amongst true fans. We need something like that for the Rockets here. Are there any other Rockets fans here in Hawaii? The other people I know from Houston just don't cut it. A couple guys didn't even know we had T-Mac (seriously, what the f$@#?).

Oh my gosh! I don't mean to single you out, but there must be like 20 different threads dedicated to Rockets fans in places besides Houston. There should be a sticky for them all, or pretty soon there's gonna be one for every city in the U.S.!

So I went to the Whataburger on Nasa Rd. 1 close to H3 (Old Galveston Road) and I ask the lady, after I place my order:

"Hey, do you guys have any Whataburgers in Hawaii?"
"Uhhh, no, I think we're only in Texas, some in Louisiana, and one in Arizona, but that's it. Are you from Hawaii?"
"No, just thought I'd ask in case I ever go to Hawaii."
    :D

Well I used to live in Hawaii. About people not knowing about T-Mac, it's more of a football state. A lot of Niner fans, Cowboy fans, and Broncos fans because of Elam and Lelie. And in terms of B-ball I guess the biggest team would be the Lakers. They're a long way from any pro sports team, so it makes sense that they're kind of bandwagony.
