.....Chicken Whopper at Burger King yet? I am in California on bidness, and see this commercial for a Chicken Whopper. Looks kinda nasty, but you never know. I know we have a high number of fast food fans here. SO, who's going to try it and report back?
I tried the Chicken Whopper Jr. yesterday. It was alright except for the charred parts. I'd go with the CWJ to test it out myself...I think its like $0.99 so it would be no harm. Next up: Veggie Whopper.
My wife is a vegeterian and when we go to Burger King I would have to say, "two whopper value meals one king sized, hold the onions on both and the meat on one" now i just have to ask for a veggie whopper. Seriously its very nice. I have not tried the chicken wopper yet, but my kids love the comercial. I will try it soon, very soon.
lil pun; thats the first thing i thought? isnt this exactly the bk broiler? new attempt to increase sales of this particular sandwich. also, does anyone else notice that taco bell has a new item like every 2 weeks? their marketing department is working overtime.
A-freakin-men. This is nothing more than a marketing device to get people to buy the BK Broiler. McDonalds should take the McRib sandwich and change its name to the "Texas Quarter Pounder" or the "Big Mic." Bollocks, I say. I think I'll stick with the original chicken sandwich (y'know, the-fried-chicken-patty-with-mass-amounts-of-mayo-on a-long-bun-sandwich). It's better, anyway (but definitely not better for you...).
I just had the BK Veggie "veggie whopper". If you're vegetarian and looking for something fast, I recommend it. It tastes just like one of those Gardenburgers you can get at the store. If you're not a vegetarian, I'd recommend not going to BK!
McDonalds has the new thing called the Chicken Strips 4 pc or 6 pc. I'd stay away. Expensive, small, and taste is ehh....
When I was living in Norway, McDonald's opened up a store in Stavanger downtown (only McDonald's south of Bergen). Anyways, one of their attractions: The Salmon-Burger!! Honest and truly, there was a Salmon Sandwich at McDonald's. My mom had one -- she said it wasn't that good.
