Another player needs to take it upon themself to be the man and take more shots if they can score more points and keep the same field goal percentages. No excuses there are too many players in this league that are scoring 19 plus points a game with other players on that same team scoring 20 plus points as well. Either you are or your not and there are plenty of people including Morey that know this... Since this is the case he will sign another great player in the offseason I'm not really worried about that. My point is nobody is really helping Harden out to a high degree consistently when it comes to offense or defense. If Harden is off he's the first guy that will be called out because he's the franchise guy which make sense but after he shows up it goes to Parsons and Lin. Those guys are good but still are more inconsistent than a James Harden. Harden is the most consistent player on this team right now.

Saying all that the whole team is terrible as a whole defensively. Since Harden is the franchise player it does start with him just like Melo with Kincks. Harden has a chance to improve IMO. If anyone has the averages as far as points for Jeremy Lin in the months of February and March so far it would be appreciated because he has impressed me with his improvements. Lin's defense has been inconsistent just like everyone else's IMO. Defense is more of a team problem to me.

Only 3 teams in the NBA have two players averaging over 19 a game.

Well since we are not playing to win a championship this year I'll give you that. I could lower 19 points a game to 16 points a game and the fact still remains. We are a young team I understand that but it's clear that after James Harden we have a lot of inconsistency... However I've been impressed with Lin lately. I have hope with Parsons eventhough he just had an horrific game.

No plays drawn up by the coaching staff = Harden doing iso and passing at last second if he doesn't have a shot.

Smarter Harden + a bit more help from coaches = 100% improvement on important plays down the stretch.

    Hold on there!
We need to confirm this. Next time Clutch gets a chance, we should ask him to ask McHale:" Mr McHale, do you draw any plays at all?"

It's a legit question because I can't remember seeing him doodling anything on a clipboard lately.

He uses the board in the 4th quarter, but one can safely assume he is doodling.
