Thanks! Thanks to rockHEAD, subtomic, gwayneco, Axeman and others who made it out to my gig last night. That was fun right up until the time when my truck got towed. Memo to rockHEAD...never take my advice on parking again! Probably won't be a massive party or anything. I'm just watching the game and, if the results are what I hope for them to be, a little postgame fun will be in order.

Played with my band orange is in at Rudyard's along with Pale and Arthur Yoria. Really good crowd too. You know, I've parked in the same spot at Rudz for I don't know how long - years really - and never been towed. A hundred seventy-one dollars and fifty cents later, I got my truck back.
Man, that's a bad one... This one is at least a little better and at Toyota Center... Hey, I even gave the Rockets three-point sign on stage and wore my Free Van Gundy t-shirt for load in.
Let me guess. You parked by the door at the bottom of the back staircase? Sorry to hear that. That's always my worst nightmare when I play anywhere. Happy B-day and I'm glad the show went well. I'm off tonight but I somehow got conned into going to see Arturo Sandoval with a couple of trumpet players which means I'll miss the 1st half of The Game. The good news is that we get to go to the soundcheck and I (hopefully) will get to meet the drummer and percussionist. Maybe learn something about Cuban drumming. But I'd still rather see the 1st half... Anyhoo, Happy B-day dude!
I know you feel on that.....I parked my truck at my friend’s apartment complex and had it towed because the entire complex had parking for tenants only. (...what about the visitors ) My friend conveniently didn’t alert me of this. The complex apparently gives out stickers for tenants to put on there vehicles. Then they contracted a tow truck to hang around the complex like scavengers looking for vehicles without "stickers." I have a feeling the complex gets a kickback from the tow truck service for there exclusive tow rights. Funny, I cant remember this "Safe Clear" thing applying to apartment complex's too... As for you band, I will definitly have to come check you guys out some time.....just tell me NOT where to park.
