Until people learn how to spell correctly instead of using text message language... they should continue to teach handwriting.
I pride myself on my handwriting and do most of my note taking and leisure writing by hand. It's definitely a skill I want to pass on to my kids someday. I've always admired old script and how handwriting complements art so well. I would be sad to see it not taught anymore.
Very true. I was actually talking about this with my fam earlier. I didnt think that we would need it as much as back then. Well, works for me I have pretty bad handwriting.
Basic skills in human interaction will need to be taught for an infinite amount of years. Lets not resort to dumbing down society even more.
